“As a 12-year-old in Clonmel, I volunteered at a summer camp for children with disabilities. I distinctly remember coming home and telling my parents that I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up.
“I still recall two of the young people who attended that camp and, unbeknownst to them, started me on my life’s path.
